Woven through the book are the voices of leaders Jodi serves alongside in South Sudan, Sudan, and the Democratic Republic of Congo, including David Kaya, Annet, and Mike Congrove. Their circumstances could hardly be more different from a West Texas suburb. The undoing God works in them is the same. Their witness keeps this from being a book about one woman, and makes it a book about how God deals with all of us.
This is a work of spiritual formation. It is a gentler, truer way to live faith in freedom.
